ABOUT OUR DOWEL BARS
American Paving Supply manufacturers dowels bars in various diameters and lengths as specified by the purchaser. The purpose of dowel bars is to transfer loads across a joint without restricting joint movement due to thermal contraction and expansion of the concrete. To develop load transfer across a joint, dowel bars are arranged at specified intervals and at mid-depth of the pavement thickness.
